The swim team will operate with a fun, low-pressure environment concentrating on learning competitive swimming skills and developing the team members into kids who like to swim and contribute to the team effort. We will learn how to correctly swim the four competitive strokes, how to start off the starting blocks, and do correct turns.

There will be a charge of $135.00 per swimmer on your statement. This fee will include the swim team T-Shirt and Swim Cap.

In order to be on the swim team, a swimmer must be able to swim 25 meters (the length of the pool) without stopping. Everyone will demonstrate this ability on the first day of practice!

 

The first day of swim team practice is Tuesday, May 28, 2024. On the first day of practice, all age groups will report to the pool at 10:00am for a brief introduction and organizational period. Swimmers will then have a team photo taken and be asked to swim the length of the pool.

On Wednesday May, 29th we will begin normal practice times and follow this schedule:

Monday through Friday

9:45am - 10:45am	Ages 11 & older
10:30am - 11:30am	Ages 9-10
11:15am-12:00pm	Ages 8 & under
